Ardmore Baptist Church, 501 Miller St., Winston-Salem, will celebrate the fifth Sunday of Easter with services at 8:15 and 10:45 a.m. Pastor Tyler Tankersley will continue his sermon series on Resurrection People, from the book of Acts. Green Street United Methodist Church, 639 S. Green St., Winston-Salem, will have an in-person service at 8:45 a.m. Sunday. The 11 a.m. service is held in-person and is streamed online via Facebook and YouTube and is a blended service featuring jazz and blues musicians as well as hymns, spirituals and elements of social gospel. The 8:45 a.m. service is a quiet, contemplative space including prayer, scripture, preaching and communion. Masks are optional in the building for services with some exceptions. Fundraisers

Bethania Moravian Church, 5545 Main St., Bethania, the Women’s Fellowship will have a chicken pie supper from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday. Eat in or take out. Plates include chicken pie, green beans, baked apples, slaw, and dessert. The cost is $15 for adults and $7 for children under 12. Whole chicken pies are available, limit of four pies.

Unity Church of Winston-Salem, 108 Hewes St., Winston-Salem, is raising money for its HVAC system. Continual Love Offerings can be made at unityofws.org.

Special activities

Community Bible Study at C&H Cafeteria, 940 S. Main St., Kernersville, 9:45 a.m. Sunday, led by the Rev. Benn Fleming. Informal dress.

Bible Fellowship Baptist Church, 4950 Warner Road, Pfafftown, will have Revival services Sunday through Friday. The speaker will be Evangelist Bruce Freeman. Service times are 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Sunday; 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. There will be special music at each service. Forest Edge Cearcall will host a mid-spring or Beltane outdoor ritual at 6 p.m. Wednesday on the grounds of 1465 Irving St., Winston-Salem, with a wander, fire, refreshments, and ritual of connecting with the earth in this season.

Parkway United Church of Christ, 1465 Irving St., Winston-Salem, will have an information session on green burial presented by All Souls Natural Burial Association of Greensboro at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Light refreshments will be served.

Bethel Methodist Church, 2170 Bethel Church Lane, Winston-Salem, will have the series “Rapture Ready,” by the Rev. David Jeremiah and presented by the Rev. Mike Gates. The series will be at 10 a.m. beginning May 5 in the sanctuary.
