Flossmoor Community Church, 2218 Hutchison Road: Sunday Drivers Community Dash on April 28. This community-wide scavenger hunt on wheels is open to teams of all ages, as many as can wear seatbelts in a vehicle. After the service, registrants will receive clue packets and have a two-hour time limit Sunday afternoon to solve clues, crack codes and conquer hilarious challenges. Gather at 5 p.m. at the Community House, 847 Hutchison Road, for a pizza party and to review snapshots and videos and to learn the winning team. Participation is free but registration is required. St. Bernard Parish, 13030 W. 143rd St.: Kickoff of Baby Bottles for Life campaign supporting Waterleaf Women’s Center in Aurora. The center serves women facing an unplanned pregnancy, addressing their spiritual, physical and emotional needs and helping them to make life-affirming decisions, all for free. Bottles will be available in the foyer after Masses. Supporters are asked to fill them with coins, checks and cash or donate online through May 12. It’s spearheaded by the Ministry of Christian Formation and Mission. All items should be put into a bin in the narthex. Anchor Church, 6600 W. 127th St.: Awana Grand Prix from 6 to 8:30 p.m. April 24. A dinner of hot dog, chips and drink will be served at 6 p.m. for $3 per person, and the race begins at 6:30 p.m. Different age groups compete, followed by the leaders. Families are invited.
