Elon Musk

X CEO Elon Musk revealed that late last year on Market Street in San Francisco, a group of X employees found themselves at the mercy of a machete-wielding man outside a local Walgreens.

The employees chose not to report the encounter, as it did not meet the criteria for an arrestable offense in California. The same individual was later implicated in the murder of three people, Musk revealed.

“Late last year, several 𝕏 employees were threatened by a guy with a machete outside the Walgreens on Market St in SF,” Musk wrote on X, retweeting a post by the X account ‘End Wokeness.’ The original tweet was about California politicians facing the burnt of their ‘pro-crime policies.’

“They didn’t report it, because that doesn’t constitute an arrestable crime in California. That guy later killed 3 people,” Musk added.

Here’s the tweet by the tech billionaire:

Musk has been vocal about his concerns regarding safety in San Francisco. In a tweet from 2023, he described the city as being in a ‘doom spiral’ with companies leaving due to increasing crime rates, drug abuse and homelessness. Musk referred to downtown San Francisco as a ‘derelict zombie apocalypse’.

“The city is in a doom spiral with one company after another [having] left or leaving. Therefore, they expect X will move too,” Musk wrote in a X post from 2023. However, he reiterated that he has no plans of moving the offices out of the tech hub, even though the company has received incentivized offers from other cities to do so.

“Many Twitter employees feel unsafe coming to work in downtown SF and have had their car windows smashed. They also got such a null response from the police that they rarely even bother reporting crimes anymore, because nothing happens,” he had written.

Of course faith has a place in our society

I’m often puzzled by the antagonism that so many on the left express towards religion (“Faith groups want more say in secular Britain. Labour should tell them to go to hell”). Keir Hardie, no less, made no secret of the fact that his passion for social justice was founded in his Christianity, and there are countless
