Evenin’ Weedin’ takes place from 5 to 7 p.m. May 21. It’s a relaxing time of service outside with friends. Attendees may bring a cooler with beverages and join in fellowship while serving the church the third Tuesday of each month through August. May 21 the group probably will spread mulch. It’s presented by the St. Jude Church Peace & Social Justice Ministry as part of Earth Day. Participants are invited to learn, pray, discuss and take concrete actions on the plastics crisis and protecting the Earth.
