The PTO T100 tour continues on June 8, as the series travels to California for T100 San Francisco. The race, held in conjunction with the iconic Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon, will bring all the biggest names in triathlon together for one epic throwdown. The best part? Who (and how) to follow at PTO T100 San Francisco
In addition to the T100 San Francisco livestream on Outside TV, live tracking for the race will be available through the T100 Tracker app for iOS and Android. Who will you be following? With a $250,000 in-race prize purse and points toward the year-end T100 bonus (a total of $2 million up for grabs!), there’s no doubt athletes will be bringing their best to California. Highlights of the women’s and men’s pro field include:
- The winners of the first two T100 races – India Lee (GBR) and Ashleigh Gentle (AUS) – will look to add a second title to their collection (and big points in the series standings).
- Taylor Knibb (USA) will unleash her bike powers on the hills of San Francisco during a brief T100 detour along her journey to the Paris Olympics.
- Anne Haug (DEU) will make her 2024 season debut – and after missing out on the first two T100 races of the season, it’s likely she’ll come out swinging with a big race.
- The women’s event will also feature 10-time world champion Daniela Ryf (SUI) and 2022 Ironman world champion Chelsea Sodaro (USA).
- Sam Long (USA), who has finished on the podium in five out of five races this year, will look to win his first T100 race.
- After missing out on Singapore due to injuries sustained in a pre-race bike crash, Magnus Ditlev (DNK) will return to the T100 circuit in California.
- Other big names from the men’s race include 2023 70.3 world champion Rico Bogen (DEU) and Olympic medalists Alistair Brownlee (GBR) and Javier Gomez (ESP).
- Also set to disrupt race dynamics: the all-American trio of Ben Kanute, Rudy von Berg, and Jason West, who will bring a power punch of swim, bike, and run to the fast-and-furious 100K format.
