• The last Theology with a Twist of the season presents “Spiritual Motivation” on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Kutztown Tavern, 272 W. Main St., Kutztown. One of our biggest challenges as people of faith is helping one another grow and change. The Rev. Jack Abel, corporate director of spiritual care for Caron Treatment Centers, will lead a presentation and discussion that brings thoughtful reflection on the Motivational Interviewing treatment method as it applies to our spiritual lives. The event is free, but food and drink can be purchased in the restaurant downstairs and brought up to our event space. Parking is available in the community lot behind the tavern or on Main Street.
• The 1st Reformed United Church of Christ, 76 N. Third St., Hamburg, is having a concert on Sunday at 2 p.m. to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the church building. The concert will showcase the talents of their congregation. It will include vocal and instrumental solos, the choir, a sing-a-long, some dancing and even some gymnastics. It’s free, and refreshments will be served immediately following the concert.
• There will be a blessing of seeds and soil during the 9 a.m. worship service on Sunday at Christ Lutheran Church, 222 Niantic Road, Douglass Township, Montgomery County. Coffee and Conversation will be held at 8:30 and 10 in the Welcome Center.

• The Health Ministry team at Reformation Lutheran Church, 3670 Perkiomen Ave., Exeter Township, will host SoulShop today from 8::30 a.m.-5 p.m. It’s a one-day faith-based suicide prevention training for church leaders to develop soul-side communities by equipping participants with the resources and guidance they need to foster hope and healing in their community. The workshop is being co-sponsored by the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and NEPA Synod of the ELCA. During the 10:30 a.m. worship service on Sunday, continuing the celebration of its 75th anniversary, Reformation welcomes the return of Stephen Longenecker, who served as Reformation’s director of music from 2013-2015. Longenecker currently serves as director of music at Immanuel United Church of Christ, Shillington. A fellowship reception will follow the service in the narthex.
• United Church of Christ of Robesonia, 301 W. Penn Ave., has canceled today’s Walking Group because of a funeral. • Dr. Susan Pizor-Yoder will be the guest speaker during the 10:30 a.m. worship service on Sunday at Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, 170 Tuckerton Road, Muhlenberg Township.
• Lighthouse Christian Center is sponsoring a skating party next Saturday from 5-7 p.m. at Skateaway, 2275 Lancaster Pike, Cumru Township.
