Services Ardmore Baptist Church, 501 Miller St., Winston-Salem, will celebrate the third Sunday of Easter with services at 8:15 and 10:45 a.m. Pastor Tyler Tankersley will continue his sermon series on Resurrection People, from the book of Acts. This week’s sermon is “Resurrection People…Repent” from Acts 3:12-19. All Together Ardmore children’s groups and activities only will meet Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. Information about All Together Ardmore and upcoming summer events is available on the church’s website, www.ardmorebaptist.org.

Fundraisers

Friedland Moravian Church, 2750 Friedland Church Road, Winston-Salem, will have its spring barbecue from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday. All you can eat pork, and chicken barbecue with slaw, hush puppies, green beans, and homemade desserts. The cost is $14 for adults and $6 for children 6-12. Take-out or eat-in available. Antioch Church Belews Creek, 6080 Belews Creek Road, Walkertown, will have a buffet supper from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday. The meal includes chicken pie, baked ham, vegetables and delicious desserts. The cost is $15 for adults and $5 for children 5-13, children 5 eat free.

Bethania Moravian Church, 5545 Main St., Bethania, the Women’s Fellowship will have a chicken pie supper from 4:30 to 7 p.m. April 27. Eat in or take out. Plates include chicken pie, green beans, baked apples, slaw, and dessert. The cost is $15 for adults and children under 12 is $7. Whole chicken pies are available, limit of four pies.

Unity Church of Winston-Salem, 108 Hewes St., Winston-Salem, is raising money for its HVAC system. Continual Love Offerings can be made at unityofws.org.

Special activities

Shallowford Presbyterian Church, 1200 Lewisville-Clemmons Road, Lewisville, will have a free Repair Cafe from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday. Technicians will be available to repair appliances, clothing, furniture, jewelry, and other items. Walk-ins are welcome, but registration is recommended. Centenary United Methodist Church, 646 W. Fifth St., Winston-Salem, will have a free concert at 3 p.m. Sunday in the sanctuary. It will feature the Gloria by Francie Poulenc. It will be performed by members of the Centenary Chancel Choir, the Greensboro Symphony Master Chorale, and Piedmont Wind Symphony. For more information, go to www.centenary-ws.org

Ardmore Moravian Church, 2013 W. Academy St., Winston-Salem, will install the Rev. Joseph (Joe) L. Moore as the 10th pastor of the church. The service will be at 10:30 a.m. April 21. St. Paul United Methodist Church, 2400 Dellabrook Road, Winston-Salem, will have online “GriefShare,” a support group for people experiencing grief due to the death of a loved one. The fourth edition will last for 13 weeks. The interactive sessions feature biblical teaching on grief and the grieving process. Forest Edge Cearcall will host a mid-spring or Beltane outdoor ritual at 6 p.m. May 1 on the grounds of 1465 Irving St., Winston-Salem, with a wander, fire, refreshments, and ritual of connecting with the earth in this season.
