Second Missionary Baptist Church

Christ Lutheran Church
Christ Lutheran Church’s concert series “Music at Christ” has one event remaining.
At 4 p.m. May 19, Deux Voix (Stephen Distad, organ; Justin Langham, trumpet) will perform.
The concert will take place inside the church, located at 3401 S. Dixon Road.
The church will celebrate Earth Sunday with a special guest, Jalisa Maulden, focusing on how we are connected to the environment. Following the service a soup lunch will be served.

New Beginnings Christian Fellowship
“Living on This Side of Easter” will be the theme at 10 a.m. Sunday at the church, 1900 S. Berkley Road. The message will be “The Blessedness Of Abiding,” and is based on John 15:1-8.

First Friends Meeting
First Friends of Kokomo, 1801 Zartman Road, invites you to join them on Sunday mornings. Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. and worship is at 10:30 a.m. This week’s sermon by Michael Carson will be “Repeat After Me: I’m Standing On The Promises.” The text will be 2 Corinthians 1:20-22.
McGrawsville Community Church
The church will sponsor a rummage sale in the youth center from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 3 and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 4.
Sale items include clothing for all ages, crafts, books, furniture, home decor, linens, knick-knacks, toys, games and more.

Peace Lutheran Church
Jesus Cares Ministry will be held the second Thursday of each month from 6-7:30 p.m. at the church, located at 750 E. Markland Ave., Kokomo.
This is a program for individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities. Each gathering will include a devotional service by Pastor Mark Rosenberg with singing and musical instruments; activities such as crafts, games, painting and more; and refreshments.
